About
Three generations of an engineer's family in Taipei navigate everyday life, a wedding, a coma and a struggling company.
NJ (Wu Nien-jen) is an engineer at a computer company in Taipei that is struggling financially. He lives there with his wife Min-Min (Elaine Jin Yan-Ling), their daughter Ting-Ting (Kelly Lee), their eight-year-old son Yang-Yang (Jonathan Chang) and Min-Min's mother. At the wedding of Min-Min's younger brother A-Di (Chen Hsi-sheng), NJ runs into his former girlfriend Sherry (Ko Su-yun). After the reception, Min-Min's mother suffers a stroke and falls into a coma, and the doctor urges the family to talk to her every day.
Yang-Yang photographs people from behind, so that they can see what they themselves cannot see. NJ's colleagues ask him to take a client, Mr. Ota (Issey Ogata), out to dinner, and he reluctantly agrees.
