About
In Mexico City, a solitary woman who rents a room to a man and his hidden nine-year-old son forms an unexpected bond with the boy.
Set in present-day Mexico City, Flies centres on Olga (Teresa Sánchez), a middle-aged woman living alone in a large apartment complex. She keeps to a fixed routine and has no friends or close relationships. Money problems lead her to let out a room; the tenant is a man who secretly brings his nine-year-old son to live in the flat as well. The boy is dealing with his own loneliness and worries, and he finds an unexpected connection with Olga. Her orderly existence starts to change as the three strangers are drawn into one another's lives. The cast also includes Bastián Escobar as Cristian and Hugo Ramírez as Tulio.
