About

An aging Vienna blues musician faces the demolition of his memory-filled home, and a long-forgotten dream resurfaces.

Alois Koch plays a version of blues musician Al Cook, who lives in Vienna in an apartment and cellar studio filled with books, videotapes and vinyl records. Outside, the world has moved on; inside, time seems to have stopped. The blues, the music that meant everything to him, is slowly fading from memory, and his birthplace no longer feels like home. When a real estate company wants to demolish his house, Al is confronted with the wreckage of his life. Out of that upheaval, a long-forgotten dream resurfaces.
