About
Souleymane, a Guinean asylum seeker in Paris, works as a meal courier while he prepares for his asylum interview two days away.
Souleymane, played by Abou Sangaré, has come from Guinea to France and applied for asylum. In Paris he earns money as a meal courier on an e-bike, although he has no work permit. His delivery account is registered in the name of Emmanuel, played by Emmanuel Yovanie, and the app regularly asks for a selfie to confirm the account holder; Souleymane therefore depends on Emmanuel, also for the money he earns. He has two days before his interview at the French asylum office, where Nina Meurisse plays an agent. For that decisive conversation he has prepared a story that is not his own.
