About
In Bangui, a seventeen-year-old Congolese refugee looks after his four younger siblings while chasing a career as a rap artist.
Seventeen-year-old Robert (Bradley Fiomona Dembeasset) lives in Bangui, in the Central African Republic. He is Congolese, and his family was displaced by the war in neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo. Both his parents are in prison for falsifying their passports, which leaves him to look after his four younger siblings on his own.
Robert tries to keep school, odd jobs and daily life going while he pursues a budding career as a rap artist and enters a music competition. The film also stars Christy Djomanda Louba, Pétruche Mbomba, Rosiana Kotozia, Gloria Ambacko and Dieufera Sana.
