About

Two thirteen-year-old boys in rural Belgium see their close friendship tested when classmates begin to speculate about their bond.

In rural Belgium, thirteen-year-old Léo (Eden Dambrine) and Rémi (Gustav De Waele) are best friends. They spend time together at Rémi's home, where they often share a bed, and at the flower farm where Léo's family works. Rémi's mother Sophie (Émilie Dequenne) and father Peter (Kevin Janssens) treat Léo as one of their own. At school, three girls ask whether Léo and Rémi are a couple. Léo denies it firmly, while Rémi says nothing. The question and homophobic insults from other boys leave Léo uneasy. He begins to spend time with new friends and takes up ice hockey, activities that do not include Rémi.
