About

A team at a French women's shelter supports women who have survived violence while trying to keep their own balance.

At the Maison des Femmes, a place dedicated to supporting women who have been victims of violence, a team of caregivers and activists works. Diane (Karin Viard), Manon (Laetitia Dosch), Inès (Oulaya Amamra) and Awa (Eye Haïdara) listen to the women, accompany them and help them regain confidence as they try to rebuild their lives. The film follows the daily work of this team in France and the care and solidarity it offers the women, while the demands of the job put pressure on the helpers' own balance. Mélisa Godet directed.
