Halls and capacity
The Apollozaal is the main seated hall, with 343 places including the balcony. The building also has smaller rooms and foyers for events.

- Urania and Clio
- Can be combined or used separately
- Caliopezaal
- Small room for small gatherings
The Apollozaal is the heart of the building: 343 seats including the balcony, and the most flexible space for events. The Thaliazaal offers 180 m², while the Urania and Clio halls can be combined or used separately. The Caliopezaal is the small, cosy room for small gatherings.
For comparison, the Leidse Schouwburg in Leiden seats 541 people and the Vijf Meihal, 11.4 km away, has a capacity of 2,000. De Muze does not publish one capacity for the whole building, because the rooms can be used separately or together.

Seating, balcony and stairs

- Seat choice
- Ground floor for easier access; balcony for a raised view
The Apollozaal seats 343 people including the balcony. Musicalweb links a one-page plan, plattegrond_de_muze.pdf, published in January 2024. Its labels confirm a podium and a balkon, but the text extract is a dense list of seat numbers rather than named rows or blocks.
That means the plan shows where the stage and balcony are, but it cannot be used to promise a particular sightline or seat number. For the easiest access, ask the box office for a ground-floor seat; for a raised view, choose the balcony only if stairs are not a problem. The venue says the balcony and upper foyer are harder to reach for visitors with limited mobility.
Wheelchair spaces are available in the hall. If you need one, or need to avoid stairs, say so when booking and ask the box office to confirm the route and the seat.
A visitor review published on De Muze's own site describes the hall as large but not too large, with a balcony and more than fine seats and legroom.
How an evening at De Muze works
Book online, show your emailed ticket at the entrance, and arrive before the hall doors open 15 minutes before the start.
Theatre café and dinner before the show
The theatre café is open to everyone, with or without a ticket, and two nearby restaurants offer theatre menus.
The café is a light room near the dunes, with local suppliers for beer, wine and coffee. It is open for a drink before or after a show, or just for coffee, and you do not need a theatre ticket.
For a full evening, Heeren van Noortwyck offers a theatre menu for €41.50 per person. Strandpaviljoen De Zeemeeuw offers a set menu for €39.50 per person and is about 350 metres from De Muze on foot; both are promoted as a way to combine dinner with the show.

Accessibility
De Muze is largely accessible, with wheelchair spaces in the hall, but there is no lift to the balcony or upper foyer.
Wheelchair spaces are available in the hall. The venue says it is largely accessible for visitors with a disability, and asks anyone with specific needs to contact the box office so staff can think along.
There is no lift. The balcony and upper foyer are therefore harder to reach for visitors with limited mobility; if stairs are a problem, ask for a ground-floor seat when booking.
Officially recognised guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome, but the visit must be reported by phone or email in advance so the venue can prepare.
