The classics
All the classics →Questions
What can you do in Eindhoven in a day?
Start at the Evoluon, the flying saucer with the Next Nature Museum. Then see the former Philips factories of Strijp-S and the Klokgebouw, or the Van Abbemuseum and the Philips Museum in the centre. In the evening there is a concert in the Muziekgebouw or the Effenaar, a film in Natlab or a drink on Stratumseind.
What is there to do in Eindhoven when it rains?
Go indoors: the Van Abbemuseum, the Philips Museum, the DAF Museum or the Next Nature Museum in the Evoluon. The rainy-day page lists what is indoors, with what is on there next.
Where do you go out in Eindhoven?
Stratumseind is the longest pub street in the Netherlands, with its bars often open late. For live music go to the Effenaar, the Altstadt or Dynamo. Every night has its own page with what is on.
When is the Lichtjesroute in Eindhoven?
The Lichtjesroute is a free light route that volunteers light up every year, from 18 September until the second Sunday of October. The next one runs from Saturday 18 September to Sunday 10 October 2027. The lights burn from 19:00 to 22:30, and on Fridays and Saturdays until 23:30. The route has no fixed start or end, so you can join anywhere.
Where can you see a show or a concert in Eindhoven?
For a show go to the Parktheater, which has cabaret, musicals, concerts, theatre, dance and opera, or to Pand P, the neighbourhood theatre of Stratum. For concerts there is the Muziekgebouw on the Heuvel, with classical, pop, jazz and global music, and the Effenaar for live music and club nights. Natlab shows films and has theatre.
