About
In 2021 Kabul, a camerawoman who believes there are no good men left works with a leading journalist as the Taliban approach.
Afghanistan, 2021, in the period before the Taliban take power again. Naru, played by Shahrbanoo Sadat, works as the sole female camera operator at Kabul's leading television station. She has left her unfaithful husband and is trying to keep custody of her three-year-old son. Like many Afghan women, she has come to believe that there are no good men in her country.
Then Qodrat, the station's leading journalist and played by Anwar Hashimi, offers her a professional opportunity. Working together, the two travel through Kabul to report on the last days of freedom. Their time on the road brings them closer, and Naru starts to question her conviction about men.
