About
A sheltered space princess leaves her planet to rescue her bounty-hunter ex from kidnappers who demand a royal weapon she cannot summon.
Saira, voiced by Shabana Azeez, is a withdrawn princess on the planet Clitopolis and the daughter of two lesbian queens. Her life is sheltered, and she has trouble meeting her royal family's expectations. When Kiki (Bernie Van Tiel), a bounty hunter and Saira's ex-girlfriend, ends their short relationship, Saira is devastated. Soon afterwards Kiki is kidnapped by a group calling itself the Straight White Maliens. For her release they demand the royal Labrys, a sign of lesbian power that Saira has never been able to summon. With a 24-hour deadline, Saira leaves Clitopolis for the first time. She takes a ship called the Problematic Ship (Richard Roxburgh) and sets out across the galaxy to free Kiki.
