About
After her father's death, Cinderella lives under her stepmother's rule and meets a prince in the forest before a court ball.
After her father's death, Cinderella (Libuše Šafránková) lives on the estate taken over by her domineering stepmother (Carola Braunbock); she is treated as a servant. The stepmother's daughter is Dora (Dana Hlaváčová). The household prepares for a visit by the king (Rolf Hoppe) and queen (Karin Lesch), who are travelling to their castle. Through flattery, the stepmother secures an invitation to the court ball, where she plans for Dora to win the heart of the prince (Pavel Trávníček). The prince, however, has gone hunting in the forest with companions including Kamil (Vítězslav Jandák). There Cinderella meets him for the first time. She also finds three magical hazelnuts, each of which grants her one wish.
