About
Two best friends are transported to a magical island, where returning home may cost them their memories of each other.
In the Philippines in the 1990s, Jo (H.E.R.) and Raissa (Liza Soberano) are best friends who have grown up hearing stories about the island of Nakali. On their last night together after high school, they find a mysterious portal that takes them to Nakali, a magical place filled with creatures from the stories their Filipino families know. Some of the island's inhabitants become friends, while others are enemies, and the girls must face the feared Manananggal. To return home, Jo and Raissa learn that the price is their memories of their friendship. They have to find a way off the island before they forget each other.
