About
Farasha and Faris fall in love at a graduation party; when she dies that night, she can meet him in his dreams, for forty nights.
Fatih Akin's German fantasy film opens at a graduation party in Hamburg's television tower, where Farasha (Mariam Dawoud) and Faris (Eren M. Güvercin) meet. Both are twenty, and one glance is enough: they fall in love and arrange to meet the next day. That same night, Farasha dies.
Farasha does not want to be separated from Faris and finds a way across the boundary between the worlds: for forty nights, and forty nights only, she can meet him in his dreams. Night after night their love grows, until the last of those nights.
