About
At Christmas in Gotham City, Batman faces the Penguin, who with corrupt businessman Max Shreck seeks power, and the mysterious Catwoman.
Gotham City, at Christmas time. The corrupt industrialist Max Shreck (Christopher Walken) plans a power plant that would draw the city's energy away, and both the mayor and Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) stand in his way. In the sewers beneath Gotham lives Oswald Cobblepot, called the Penguin (Danny DeVito): born malformed and abandoned by his wealthy parents, he grew up among penguins and spent 33 years underground at the head of a gang of criminals. Shreck helps him back into society and wants to make him mayor. Selina Kyle, Shreck's secretary, meanwhile moves through Gotham's streets as Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer), and Batman has to deal with all of them.
