About
A Hollywood actor from Gotham, disfigured by a crime boss, seeks a treatment that restores his face but changes him into a shapeshifting creature.
Clayface is a 2026 American body horror film directed by James Watkins and based on the DC Comics character. Tom Rhys Harries plays Matt Hagen, an actor who rises from a street kid in Gotham to a Hollywood leading man. After a local crime boss leaves him badly disfigured, his team abandons him and he can no longer find work. Matt seeks out scientist Caitlyn Corr, played by Naomi Ackie, who is developing a treatment to repair damaged skin and tissue. The procedure restores his old appearance but also turns him into a shapeshifting creature and disturbs his sense of reality. The cast also includes David Dencik, Max Minghella and Eddie Marsan.
