About
A reprogrammed Terminator protects young John Connor in 1995 from a shape-shifting T-1000 as his mother Sarah tries to prevent Judgment Day.
In 2029, Earth is ravaged by war between the artificial intelligence Skynet and the human resistance. Skynet sends the T-1000, a shape-shifting Terminator made of liquid metal, back in time to kill resistance leader John Connor as a child. The resistance sends back a reprogrammed T-800, a less advanced Terminator with a metal endoskeleton covered in living tissue, to protect him.
In 1995 Los Angeles, John (Edward Furlong) lives with foster parents and considers his mother Sarah (Linda Hamilton) delusional. Sarah is incarcerated in Pescadero State Hospital, where Dr. Silberman (Earl Boen) treats her, after her violent efforts to prevent Judgment Day. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the reprogrammed T-800 and Robert Patrick the T-1000.
