About
In late-1980s Mexico, eight-year-old Roberta grows up among seven women fighting to save their home from debt.
In Mexico in the late 1980s, eight-year-old Roberta grows up in an unconventional household of seven women from different generations. Her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother are among them, along with a cousin, an aunt and Tachita, who has worked for the family for many years and is now considered a family member. The house is threatened by mounting debts, and the family fights to keep it. Roberta tries to fix things, and the story follows her self-discovery as it affects the rest of the household. The cast includes Aurora Dávila as Roberta, María Castellá as Alicia, Natalia Plascencia as Limbania, Paloma Petra as Georgina, Rosy Rojas as Concha, Lola Ochoa as Tachita, Fernanda Baca as Manuela and Arturo Vázquez as Don Carlos.
