The Mission is a 2023 American documentary directed by Amanda McBaine and Jesse Moss. It centres on John Allen Chau, an American missionary who in 2018 travelled to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Chau wanted to make contact with the Sentinelese, one of the world's most isolated indigenous peoples, who are legally protected. He bribed fishermen to take him to North Sentinel Island. The film draws on interviews and archival footage from his journey. Pam Arlund, Dan Davis, Levi Davis and Daniel Everett appear as themselves.
