Four teenage altar boys in a Polish town devise their own plan for justice after a preacher takes a collection for himself.
Filip Grabowski (Tobiasz Wajda), Gustaw 'Gucci' (Bruno Błach-Baar), 'Kurczak' (Mikołaj Juszczyk) and 'Mały Kurczak' (Filip Juszczyk) are teenage altar boys at a Catholic church in a present-day Polish town. They take the ideals of justice they learn as altar boys seriously, and see a gap between those ideals and reality. After a collection for people in need at the end of Mass, they watch the visiting preacher put the money into his own pocket. Angered, the boys decide to act on their own. With youthful rebellion and their own reading of the Bible, they devise an unconventional plan for moral renewal in their neighbourhood, beginning with a hidden listening device in the confessional. Daria Kalinchuk plays Dominika; Kamila Urzędowska is Filip's mother, Tomasz Schuchardt the retreat leader and Sławomir Orzechowski the parish priest.
