About
When a fellow doctoral student finds an error in her thesis, a brilliant mathematics student at Paris's École Normale Supérieure sees her certainties collapse.
Marguerite Hoffmann is a brilliant mathematics student at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris. She is the only woman in Professor Laurent Werner's doctoral programme and is working on the Goldbach conjecture. When she presents her thesis to a committee of researchers, Lucas Savelli, another of Werner's doctoral students, finds a serious error in her work. Marguerite leaves the hall and decides to abandon her studies. She takes a stopgap job and meets the young Noa. Ella Rumpf plays Marguerite, Julien Frison is Lucas Savelli, Jean-Pierre Darroussin is Laurent Werner and Sonia Bonny is Noa.
