About
After Abdel is gravely injured in police custody, Vinz, Hubert and Saïd drift through a Paris suburb during riots.
During a chaotic night of rioting in a Paris suburb, a local man, Abdel, is left gravely injured after a confrontation with police and is hospitalized. In the unrest a police officer loses his revolver, which ends up with Vinz (Vincent Cassel), a young Jewish man from the neighbourhood.
Over the next day and night, Vinz drifts through the area with his friends Hubert (Hubert Koundé) and Saïd (Saïd Taghmaoui), young men from immigrant families waiting for news about Abdel. Vinz talks of revenge and considers using the weapon; Hubert, an Afro-French boxer, wants to leave the banlieue behind. The film follows the three friends as tensions in the neighbourhood continue.
