About
A documentary about three young activists in Uganda, Chile and Hong Kong and how their fight for environment, social justice and democracy shapes their lives.
The documentary follows three young women who campaign: Hilda in Uganda, Rayen in Santiago de Chile and Pepper in Hong Kong. Hilda works for the future of the environment, while Rayen and Pepper demonstrate for social justice and democracy. Director Franz Böhm examines how their activism shapes their everyday lives and how today's protest movements are organised. The film also visits climate protests in Uganda and the C40 World Mayors Summit 2019 in Copenhagen. It looks at the challenges and motivations behind their engagement and gives insights into the impact on their daily lives.
