About
A documentary about Europe's most bicycle-friendly cities, how they shifted from cars to bikes, and what others can learn from them.
Cycling Cities is a documentary by Ingwar Perawanowitsch, who also appears in it himself. The film looks at how cities manage the shift from the car to the bicycle, and what that means for life in them: air quality, climate protection and the health of the people who live there. It visits some of the most beautiful cycling cities in Europe and shows how they changed their mobility from car-centric to bicycle-centric. It also examines measures that can make a city more climate friendly and climate resilient, with recent examples in Paris, and what cities in Germany can learn from them.
