About
A young sparrow raised by storks follows his family to Africa with an owl and a parakeet.
Richard (voiced by Tilman Döbler) is a young sparrow raised by a family of storks. Aurora, his stork mother (voiced by Maud Ackermann), adopts him, and he grows up believing he is one of them. Claudius (Marcus Off), the leader of the flock, is his father, and Max (Marco Eßer) is his brother. When autumn arrives, the storks prepare to migrate to Africa. Claudius tells Richard that, as a sparrow, he cannot make the journey with them. Richard decides to follow the flock south anyway. He meets Olga (Nicolette Krebitz), an oversized pygmy owl with an imaginary friend named Oleg, and Kiki (Christian Gaul), a parakeet. The three birds travel on together.
