Start on the Oude Markt with the Grote Kerk, spend the late morning in Rijksmuseum Twenthe and the afternoon in Roombeek, at De Museumfabriek or Tetem. Rijksmuseum Twenthe and De Museumfabriek are closed on Mondays. In the evening there is a concert in Metropool or the Muziekcentrum.

Winters Enschede runs from 26 November 2026 to 4 January 2027, with extra lights in the centre. The ice rink on the Oude Markt is open from 27 November to 3 January, and Enschede Lights Up, a free light-art route, is on 10 to 13 December from 17:00 to 22:00.
