About
A young polar bear who is afraid of water befriends a seal who rescues him, a friendship that not everyone accepts.
The Little Polar Bear is a German animated film based on the books by Hans de Beer. It follows Lars, a young polar bear voiced by Mijail Verona, who lives in the North Arctic with his parents. Lars is afraid of water and can only watch as his friends play in it. One day he falls from the ice into the water and is rescued by Robby, a young seal voiced by Maximilian Artajo. The two become close friends. Greta, a polar bear girl voiced by Jeanette Biedermann, is one of Lars's friends, and his father Mika is voiced by Ingolf Lück. Not everyone accepts the friendship between a polar bear and a seal.
