About
Ten-year-old Hannes tries to join a local gang, but when his entry test goes wrong, a wheelchair-using boy named Kai saves him.
Ten-year-old Hannes (Nick Romeo Reimann) lives with his young, poor single mother and wants to join the Vorstadtkrokodile, the gang in his neighbourhood. During an entry test on the rickety roof of an abandoned factory, something goes badly wrong. Kai (Fabian Halbig), who uses a wheelchair, sees Hannes through his telescope and calls the emergency services. When Hannes later visits the boy who saved him, he meets Kai, who is paralysed. Kai would also like to join the gang, but most of the members think a wheelchair user would be a burden. Hannes is willing to accept him.
