Strange Harvest is a mockumentary horror film set in Southern California’s Inland Empire. Detectives Joe Kirby (Peter Zizzo) and Lexi Taylor (Terri Apple) recount their pursuit of a serial killer known as Mr. Shiny, who committed murders across three decades. In July 2010, local police in San Bernardino County arrive at the home of the Sheridan family. The family is found murdered in their home, bound at the dining room table, with a strange symbol painted in their blood on the vaulted ceiling. One detective recognizes the symbol from a case the pair worked in 1995, before the killer seemingly paused for fifteen years.
