In Tokyo, a strange image spreads among Michi Kudo's colleagues and Ryosuke Kawashima's friends, who trace it to a computer virus.

In Tokyo, Michi Kudo works with Junko Sasano, Toshio Yabe and Taguchi. When Taguchi cannot be reached, Michi goes to his home, and later a strange image from his computer disk begins to draw in the people around her. Frightened, she flees and meets Ryosuke Kawashima, a university student whose friends have also fallen under the image's spell. Together they find that a fast-spreading computer virus lies behind the behaviour of those around them.

The film follows these two storylines in a Tokyo unsettled by disappearances and a ghostly presence arriving through the Internet. Kiyoshi Kurosawa directs; Kumiko Aso plays Michi, Haruhiko Kato plays Ryosuke, Koyuki plays Harue Karasawa, and Kurume Arisaka and Masatoshi Matsuo appear as Junko and Toshio.
