About

A seven-year-old girl forms a bond with a sinister entity that resembles her mother and asks to be let into her heart.

Seven-year-old Bela is struggling to settle into a new school while the distance between her parents grows. Her mother is absorbed in her corporate career, and her father, an unemployed househusband, spends much of his time looking after her. In their home Bela encounters a supernatural entity that closely resembles her mother. She calls it Other Mommy, and it repeatedly asks her to let it into her heart.

Jessica Chastain plays Bela's mother and Other Mommy; Jay Duplass plays her father, and Arabella Olivia Clark plays Bela.
