About
Ernest and Celestine travel to his homeland Gibberitia to repair his broken violin, where they find music banned.
In the animated adventure Ernest & Celestine: A Trip to Gibberitia, Célestine the mouse wakes the bear Ernest from hibernation. When she brings his violin down from the attic, it falls and breaks. Ernest says it is a valuable instrument from his homeland, Gibberitia, and refuses to buy a new one. Célestine suggests traveling there; Ernest refuses, so she sets off alone and leaves him a note. Ernest follows her and finds her on arrival. Together they discover that music has been banned throughout Gibberitia for years. For Ernest and Célestine, a life without music is unthinkable. With friends and a mysterious masked outlaw, they try to bring music and joy back to the land of bears. The voices are Lambert Wilson as Ernest and Pauline Brunner as Célestine.
