About
A couple and their children in 1950s France are unexpectedly transported to 2025, where Hélène embraces new freedoms and Michel struggles to adapt.
In a small French town in the 1950s, Hélène Dupuis (Elsa Zylberstein) and Michel Dupuis (Didier Bourdon) live a simple, carefree life with their two children. Michel is the head of the household, while Hélène takes her place as wife and mother, in keeping with the traditional values of the time.
Their life changes when the family unexpectedly ends up in 2025. They find a modern society where technology determines daily life, social rules have changed and the position of women is fundamentally different. For Hélène, the new world feels like a revelation; for Michel, the confrontation is a hard blow, as the certainties and privileges he relied on seem to have disappeared.
