About
What to expect
The program features Claude Debussy’s (1862–1918) La mer (Three Symphonic Sketches for Orchestra) and Alexander Raskatov’s (*1953) Green Mass for soprano, alto, tenor, bass, mixed choir and orchestra.
Debussy sets the sea’s movements in sound; Raskatov’s work reflects human damage to nature and appeals to responsibility for future generations.
