How many people fit in ZB Middelburg?
The ZB does not publish one capacity for the whole building: it is a library with ten rooms rather than a single hall. The largest room, the Betje Wolff Auditorium, seats 150 people in a fixed arrangement; the foyer next to it holds up to 150 in varying layouts.
- Auditorium
- 150 fixed seats
- Foyer
- 150 people
- Auditorium floor
- 264 m²
- Stage area
- 88 m²
That makes the ZB smaller than the Zeeuwse Concertzaal (372) and Schouwburg Middelburg (530), the two main stages nearby, but the auditorium is a proper seated hall for lectures, debates and small performances, with a 264 m² floor and an 88 m² stage area.
For a reception the foyer is the larger space at 518 m², although its published maximum is 150 people. The published maximum depends on the layout the room is set up in.
