About
A heroin-addicted horror director receives mysterious films and a cassette from an obsessive amateur filmmaker who shares his passion for cinema.
José Sirgado (Eusebio Poncela) is a low-budget horror director who is addicted to heroin and has a difficult relationship with Ana Turner (Cecilia Roth). Pedro (Will More), the cousin of José's former girlfriend Marta, sends him a film reel, an audio cassette and the key to his apartment, even though the two men have met only twice. José and Ana play the cassette, which recounts those meetings in flashback. The first took place when José and Marta visited the family home to look for a shooting location. Pedro, who obsessively makes homemade films, snorts heroin with José and asks about time-lapse photography, then shows his private home movies. José later mails him an interval timer for his camera.
