About
An autistic man tries to get his driver's licence to prove he can function normally, but falling in love during lessons brings unexpected challenges.
The film follows Kain, a fearless young autistic man who decides to get his driver's licence. He wants to become more independent and prove that he, as an autistic person, can function normally in the world around him. That aim raises the question of what 'normal' actually means. During driving lessons he falls in love, and his wish to connect with the world becomes more urgent. The Dutch tragicomedy is directed by Gabriel Bauer. The cast includes Barbara Sloesen, André Dongelmans, Daniël Gellvoet, Malou Gorter, Peter Blok, Aus Greidanus, Jaike Belfor and Fabian Franciscus.
