Book discussion - Towards Palestinian Liberation

The event brings into conversation the co-editors and one of the authors of Towards Palestinian Liberation: Global Perspectives on Anti-Colonial Resistance and Solidarity (Daraja Press, 2026). Towards Palestinian Liberation is an edited volume that brings together 17 academics and organisers from Palestine to Sudan to Brazil exploring the interconnectedness of global struggles, examining the role of economic and political interests, and critically assessing the opportunities and challenges facing international solidarity movements. The speakers will explore the histories of transnational solidarity and struggle from the era of Third World Internationalism to today, situating Palestine within wider regional dynamics, global power structures, and the long arc of anticolonial struggle. This event is hosted by the Centre for Gender & Diversity at University of Maastricht and will take place at Spiegelzaal.
