About Slow Pulp
Slow Pulp's indie rock moves between dreamy shoegaze, raw guitar outbursts and fragile indiepop.
The band started in Madison, Wisconsin, where Henry Stoehr, Alexander Leeds and Theodore Mathews made music before singer and guitarist Emily Massey joined.
The quartet now works from Chicago, and the friends share a love of 1990s alternative rock.
- Debut album Moveys came out in 2021.
- Yard was the breakthrough in 2023.
- Third album Melodie sounds tighter than ever.
- Massey and Stoehr wrote intensively together again.
