Bach concertsJohann Sebastian Bach · 1685–1750
Bach came to America through its choirs: the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, gave the first complete American performance of the Mass in B minor in 1900, a work it still sings at its Bach Festival. Churches and colleges across the country play his cantatas and organ music.
Where to startStart with the Cello Suites, the Brandenburg Concertos or the Goldberg Variations.
