Seating plan: one rank and even/odd seat numbers
Schouwburg Lochem has one price rank; seats are numbered in even and odd runs from the centre, so consecutive numbers are not always next to each other.

2, book on 0573 250051
Because there is only one rank, every seat has the same price category.
Seat numbers count away from the centre in steps of two: even numbers on one side, odd numbers on the other. Seats 12 and 14 are in the same run; 12 and 13 are on opposite sides. The box office can confirm adjacent seats before you pay.
Two wheelchair spaces are available in the hall. Book them by phone on 0573 250051 and say whether a companion is coming, so the venue can place you together.
Choose by position rather than price: the lowest number in either run is closest to the centre line, and higher numbers move towards the side. For the most central view, take the lowest available number; for an edge seat, take a higher one. The two wheelchair spaces are booked through the box office.

Getting to Schouwburg Lochem from Lochem station
Lochem station is 1,230 metres from the theatre, a 17-minute walk; buses 52, 58 and 805 also stop within 550 metres.
The theatre sits on the Oosterwal in the centre of Lochem. From the station, walking is straightforward and takes about 17 minutes.
If you prefer the bus, lines 52 and 58 connect the station side of town with stops near the theatre; line 805 stops at Hotel Hof van Gelre. The table gives each stop and the walk from there.
For live departure times, use 9292.nl. After an evening show, the station is still a 17-minute walk: check the last train or bus before you book, because a show ending around 22:30 can finish after the last scheduled connection. If nothing fits, book a local taxi in advance or arrange a lift.
Parking at Schouwburg Lochem: the Graafschapterrein lot
The venue has no car park of its own; the nearest is the Graafschapterrein at Prins Bernhardweg 38, a 5-minute walk, free after 18:00 and with a parking disc before that.
Drive to Prins Bernhardweg 38 and park on the Albert Heijn and Jumbo lot. Leave on foot at the back towards the centre, follow the canal to the left and turn right at its end; the theatre is a few metres further.
Before 18:00 the blue zone allows a maximum of two hours with a parking disc; after 18:00 parking is free. On Friday late-night shopping it can take longer to find a space.
Do not park on the Lidl site: the gates close and you risk being locked in. The theatre's own advice is to use the Graafschapterrein and walk.

History of Schouwburg Lochem
Schouwburg Lochem opened on the Oosterwal in 1910, after the town's first hall caught fire at Christmas 1908; the building was renovated in 1973 and 2011.
The first hall opened in 1869, built on the initiative of the gentlemen's society De Eendracht and the citizens' society De Harmonie. It caught fire at Christmas 1908.
The new theatre, designed by architect Hellendoorn, opened on 15 January 1910. It has been the town's theatre ever since.
Renovations in 1973 and 2011 modernised the building while keeping its place on the Oosterwal.
