About
A Shanghai teenager and her friends try to bring a young Yeti named Everest back to his family on Mount Everest.
In Shanghai, teenager Yi (voiced by Chloe Bennet) lives with her mother and grandmother Nai Nai (Tsai Chin) in an apartment building. She keeps to herself and spends her evenings playing violin on the roof. There she meets Everest (Joseph Izzo), a young Yeti who has escaped from a compound owned by wealthy businessman Mr. Burnish (Suzy Eddie Izzard). Burnish wants to use the creature to prove that yetis exist. Yi names the Yeti Everest. With her basketball-loving friend Peng (Albert Tsai) and his older cousin Jin (Tenzing Norgay Trainor), who is on bad terms with Yi, she sets out to take Everest from Shanghai back to his family on Mount Everest, a journey of some 3,000 kilometres.
