What is Puncher Comedy Club?
Puncher Comedy Club is a comedy club in Alkmaar with its own room at Stationsweg 16 and a second club in Haarlem. It programmes Dutch-language stand-up, Comedy XL, Comedy Diner and workshops, and lists English-spoken shows when it has them.
The club began in Haarlem, where the idea took shape in June 2022. On 1 June 2025 Puncher opened its own venue in Alkmaar.
Puncher also runs Puncher Points, monthly shows in existing cafés and cultural houses; the first was De Groote Weiver in Wormerveer, on the last Friday of the month.
In Haarlem the club moved from Vester to the Jopenkerk in October 2026, where it uses the Pastoriezaal. That is a different location from the Alkmaar club on Stationsweg.
