How many people can the Lindenberg halls hold?
The Lindenbergzaal is the largest single room, with 341 seats. The Steigerzaal seats 144, the Valkhofzaal 120 and the Karolingenzaal 72. Room hire runs from 10 to 550 people across several rooms.
The 550 is not one hall: the rental page quotes it for groups across three theatre halls, four meeting rooms and several multifunctional rooms. The largest single auditorium remains the Lindenbergzaal at 341.
For scale, Schouwburg Cuijk seats 660 and Sportcentrum Arcus holds 700, each about twice the Lindenbergzaal; the Goffertstadion holds 12,500. All three are outside the building and listed for comparison only.

Centrum or Aldenhof: which Lindenberg building is my event in?
The theatre halls and café are at Lindenberg Centrum, Ridderstraat 23 in the city centre. Lindenberg Aldenhof in Dukenburg is a course and activity location. Some agenda entries are at external stages such as LUX and Concertgebouw De Vereeniging.
Check the location on your ticket: the agenda mixes the two Lindenberg buildings with external stages. An entry at Aldenhof is in Dukenburg, not at Ridderstraat 23.
Aldenhof is fully wheelchair accessible and has its own free car park. It is reached by bus 331, or by bus 4 in the evenings and on Sundays from Nijmegen Dukenburg station.
External stages in the agenda, including LUX Nijmegen and Concertgebouw De Vereeniging, are separate venues with their own address and tickets.

Lindenberg Cultuurhuis: a cultural house since 1972
Lindenberg opened in 1972 as a cultural centre in Nijmegen's Benedenstad, on Ridderstraat opposite the Valkhof. The building was designed by Eijkelenboom and Middelhoek and brought the library, art academy and music school together; the Steigertheater joined in 2006–07.
The name comes from the nearby street Lindenberg, which ran here until about 1950. The Steigerzaal recalls the former Steigertheater, which became part of the house in 2006–07.
Today the centre combines theatre with courses and workshops: about 4,000 children, young people and adults take part each year in music, dance, theatre, visual art and writing. Its stated mission is cultural education for everyone.
The building itself is part of the visit: the buildings are grouped around a courtyard at the entrance; the Lindenbergzaal has its own foyer, and the Valkhofzaal looks out over the Waal and the Valkhof chapel.
