Getting to Het Theater Blaricum by bus, train or car
The theatre is in the centre of Blaricum; the closest bus stop, Blaricum Dorp, is a two-minute walk.
Two stations work well. From Naarden-Bussum, take bus 109 towards Eemnes to Laren Brink Centrum, then bus 108 towards Huizen Busstation and get off at Blaricum Dorp. From Hilversum, bus 108 towards Huizen Busstation goes directly to Blaricum Dorp. The stop is 150 m from the door, about two minutes.
By car, the theatre is just off the A1 and A27; use a route planner for the car.

From Sportbeschuit factory to village theatre
The building on Huizerweg has been a bakery, a lunchroom, a village hall and a famous recording studio before it became a theatre again.
Nanning George Enzlin started a bakery at Huizerweg in 1906 and became known for his Sportbeschuiten; a sign on the façade read Sportbeschuit-fabriek. A lunchroom followed at the front, run by his foster son Ebele Faber.
In the early thirties the bakery became Zaal Enzlin, a venue for parties, theatre and film. After the war it was renamed Zaal Faber, where local and national artists performed, including Snip en Snap.
In the sixties the theatre made way for the Soundpush Studio; Rob and Ferdi Bolland later renamed it the Bolland Studio's. Het Theater reopened in 2022 after a thorough renovation, with the hall restored to its original shape.
