Seating plan and the best seats
The large hall has two levels: 424 seats in the stalls and 185 on the balcony. The Mondriaanzaal has 216 seats in a smaller room.
The venue's downloadable seating plan is labelled RabobankZaal, while the event pages use Mondriaanzaal and Seesing Flex Zaal. Check the hall on your ticket. In the large hall, the stalls put you closest to the stage; the balcony is a separate level and gives a raised view over the hall. Choose the Mondriaanzaal for a small-scale show and the large hall for a full production.

The history of Theater De Storm
The theatre opened on 22 August 1970 as the Cultureel Centrum, after a storm on 27 March 1966 destroyed the Feestgebouw from 1889. It became Schouwburg De Storm and has been called Theater De Storm since 2009.
The theatre hall and the feestzaal have wall paintings by Matthijs Röling and Anouk Martijn, made between 1996 and 1998. The venue describes them as among the largest panorama paintings in the Netherlands; they are based on the history of Winterswijk, the building and the theatre.
