What is Bibliotheek Veenendaal in De Cultuurfabriek?
The public library of Veenendaal, in the former Hollandia wool factory on the Kees Stipplein.
De Cultuurfabriek opened in 2010 on the site of the old Hollandia wool factory. The restored factory chimney still marks the building, which the library shares with Grand Café Blàài, Stadsmuseum Veenendaal, the Kunstuitleen, the Historische Vereniging and the VVV/Museumshop.
The library is more than shelves. You can borrow books, follow a course or workshop, practise Dutch at the Taalhuis, experiment with technology in the FabLab, print and study, or settle in with a coffee. It is a place to learn for life.
