Reserving a study or work place: how it works
Members reserve a study or work place online for free; non-members can try a place once for free without a subscription.
- Group work places are in the open library, not in a separate room.
- You can book up to two time blocks at once.
- A new member can reserve a place 24 hours after joining.
- Do not log in twice in a row: the second login checks you out and frees the place.
Printing, Wi-Fi and computers: what you can use
Printing at Bibliotheek Mariënburg is free: up to 10 pages per person, black and white only, and you do not need a library membership.
Use a free computer, log in with a guest account, open your file from email or a USB stick and press print. The document comes out at the printer beside the computer. The limit keeps printing sustainable; for a thesis or flyers you need a copy shop.
The library also has internet access and Wi-Fi, practice computers and laptops, and a reading table. Ask at the desk if you need help getting online.
There is a Menstruation Supply Point (MUP), a payment terminal and a return letterbox for books in the building.

It is a calm, warm spot in the building where you can read, chat or take a break from studying. The library calls it a place to feel at home, whether you come for a book, a conversation or a long study session.
Because the café closes at 17:00, it is not open during the library's late evenings.
