About
A five-day course at Radboud University in Nijmegen on MRI and fMRI, from MR physics to advanced analysis. It runs from 16 to 20 November 2026.
What to expect
The Donders (f)MRI Toolkit is an intensive five-day course that covers the full neuroimaging pipeline, from signal acquisition to population-level analysis.
- Part 1: foundations of MR physics
- Part 2: model-free and model-based analysis
- Includes brain decoding
- Part 3: future directions in (f)MRI
- Hands-on dataset organization, sharing and merging
- For researchers at all levels
FAQ
How do I register?
Registration and details are on the organizer's page:
Who is the course for?
It is designed for researchers at all levels.
It suits people looking to expand their expertise in cognitive neuroimaging.
It also suits those who have recently started (f)MRI research.
What topics are covered?
The program has three parts:
Foundations: MR physics and the physical mechanisms behind fMRI contrast, artifacts and quantitative maps
Analysis: model-free and model-based fMRI analysis, including brain decoding
Innovation: ultra-fast, high-spatial-resolution imaging, combinations with other neuroimaging methods, and dataset organization, sharing and merging with normative modelling
Who organizes the course?
The Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour organizes the course.
