About
A musical journey about the river and people, inspired by Li An Phoa's book Drinkbare Rivieren, with a mix of classical, jazz and hiphop. At Podium Hoge Woerd, Utrecht, on Saturday 19 December 2026 at 20:30.
What to expect
The performance tells the story of the river and the people, following the water from its source to the sea.
On the way you see what the river meets: beautiful nature, busy cities and pollution.
The music is a mix of classical, jazz and hiphop, and images from nature filmmakers complete the story.
Before the show, writer Li An Phoa gives an introduction about her book Drinkbare Rivieren and her 15,000-kilometre journey.
